Associate Software Engineer Job Ticket Mojo

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CTO and cross-functional teams to define software requirements, specifications, and project timelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain TicketMojo’s core platform using Laravel and Vue.js.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and user-facing errors.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure platform functionality, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and product roadmap discussions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to ticketing and fintech.
- Document code, technical specifications, and development processes.
- Collaborate with customer success teams to resolve user issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide on-call technical support for event organizers and partners during critical event times.
- Prepare regular progress reports on development and support tasks.
- Support continuous improvement of TicketMojo’s event management ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in web development with Laravel and Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of front-end & back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL).
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt in a fast-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):
- Experience with cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of payment gateways, ticketing, or SaaS platforms.
