Job Vacancy- Airport Representative

Our Company Africa Safari Trips is a Netherlands-based company and is one of the leading safari companies in Africa is seeking to hire an Airport Representative to manage client arrivals, ensure smooth transfers, and provide a warm welcome. The role involves assisting guests at the airport and representing the company professionally to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet clients upon arrival at the airport with clear signage.
  • Confirm guest identities and verify their booking and transfer details.
  • Assist guests with immigration formalities (if necessary), baggage collection, and customs clearance.
  • Liaise with drivers and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient transfers to hotels or designated destinations.
  • Communicate any changes in arrival times or delays to relevant teams.
  • Provide guests with welcome kits, itineraries, contact information, or any other necessary documents.
  • Handle guest questions, complaints, or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate arrival records and report daily activity to the operations team.
  • Coordinate with hotel partners and internal departments regarding guest arrivals and any issues encountered.
  • Assist with lost luggage procedures, flight delays, or emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, or Hospitality.
  • Proficiency in German or Spanish language is an added advantage
  • At least 2 years experience in the travel industry in a similar position
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple client requests efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary
