Job Description

The Airport Representative will serve as the first point of contact for Crystal Tours Kenya guests arriving in the country. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless airport experience by assisting clients with arrivals, transfers, and travel formalities while upholding the company’s reputation for exceptional customer service.

  • Meet and greet clients upon arrival at the airport with clear signage and a warm welcome.
  • Confirm guest identities, bookings, and transfer details accurately.
  • Assist guests with immigration formalities (when necessary), baggage collection, and customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with drivers and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient transfers to hotels or designated destinations.
  • Monitor flight schedules, communicate any changes or delays to the operations team, and adjust logistics accordingly.
  • Provide guests with welcome kits, itineraries, contact details, and other relevant documents.
  • Address guest questions, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate arrival and departure records and prepare daily reports for the operations team.
  • Liaise with hotel partners and internal departments regarding guest arrivals and requirements.
  • Assist with lost luggage procedures, flight disruptions, or emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tourism Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in German, Spanish, or other foreign languages is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple client requests under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional appearance, punctuality, and a customer-oriented mindset.
