Administrative Assistant I Job

Basic Salary Kshs. – 41,320
House Allowance – 12,800
Commuter Allowance – 5,000
Leave Allowance – 6,000 (Payable once in a Year)
Mortgage & Car Loan – As per SRC guidelines

  • Taking oral dictation;
  • Word and data processing;
  • Handling routine correspondences;
  • Operating office equipment;
  • Ensure security of office equipment, documents and records;
  • Attending to visitors/clients;
  • Handling telephone calls and appointments;
  • Maintaining diary and scheduling of meetings;
  • Ensuring an up-to-date filing system in the office;
  • Supervision of office cleanliness; and
  • Managing petty cash.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Commerce, Public Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
  • Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subjects: Typewriting III (minimum 50 w.p.m)/, Computerized
  • document Processing III; Business English III/Communications II, Office Practice II, Commerce II, Secretarial Duties II, Office Management III/Office Administration and Management III, will be an added advantage;
  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council will be an added advantage;
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education; and
  • Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution.

  • Commission for University Education (CUE) accreditation of a Diploma/Degree/Post-graduate Diploma/Post-graduate Certificate conferred by a foreign university/institution.
