Accountant (Intern) Job Beta Care Hospital

Duration: 3–6 Months
Reporting to: Hospital Administrator / Accounts Officer
Beta Care Hospital is a Level 4 healthcare facility dedicated to providing quality and affordable healthcare services. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to support the hospital’s finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Support daily cash office operations and revenue recording
- Assist with invoice processing, payment vouchers, and receipts
- Support bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and summaries
- Support stock, stores, and asset records in coordination with relevant departments
- Assist in billing, claims processing, and revenue tracking
- Ensure proper filing and safe custody of financial documents
- Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- CPA, Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (Accounting option), or a related field
- Must have completed coursework and be eligible for internship attachment
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage
- High level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and work in a healthcare environment
- Resident within or near the hospital location is an added advantage
