My 3 Year Experience Working At CSS
It is said that every ending is a new beginning filled with unique experiences. At Corporate Staffing, we wrapped up the previous week with a heartfelt farewell for Chepngetich Caroline who has been instrumental in our communication department, developing digital marketing strategies to support our services, boost our visibility and reputation.

I was curious to learn more about her experience and career journey, and here’s what she shared with me “I learnt about CSS through online and after registering in their databases, I was called to be interested in a role of PR and Communication Officer but after the interview, I was not successful. I sent a thank you email to the CEO who had interviewed me and requested him to consider me when they have other openings which happened three months later.” She said.
According to Caroline, she joined the company when she was novice in the industry and didn’t have much experience in the field but CSS shaped her. ”I got the support and guidance that I needed from the CEO, managers and my colleagues and through CSS, I developed my skills and expanded my expertise.”
In her over three years experience at CSS, Caroline has grown both personally and professionally, she collaborated with diverse teams and she embraced the challenges, which has boosted her confidence and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
But what will she miss most at CSS? I asked her. “I will miss the unwavering support from my colleagues in different departments. They believed in me so much that they voted for me as the best team spirit champion twice and this is recognition highlighted the collaborative spirit we fostered together.”
Her time at Corporate Staffing has prepared her for future endeavours because she has gained valuable experience and she is well-equipped to continue in her growth journey.
I would have failed to fulfill my duty if I had failed to ask her advice to professionals who have attended several interviews without success.
“My advice is to first start with your application materials, ensure you have a well-written CV that highlights your strengths, prepare well for the interviews, and after the interviews, follow up promptly. To all job seekers, cold pitching is one of the strategies that you can utilize. Reach out to employers even if they have not advertised the roles. Express your interest in their company and highlight how your skills can add value. This approach can open up opportunities for you, and it can set you apart from other candidates.”
To you Caroline, as you start your new career journey, we wish you all the best, we are confident that your skills and commitment will lead to great success in your next chapter. See you at the top!
