Senior Sales Account Executive
Position Overview
We are seeking a SaaS Software Sales Executive to spearhead new client acquisition for Logixfleet, with a strong focus on businesses seeking to eliminate fuel pilferage and monitor fuel consumption across their fleets.
The ideal candidate is a confident and self-motivated B2B sales professional, experienced in consultative selling and solution pitching to operational decision-makers in transport, logistics, and construction-related industries.
Compensation & Employment Terms
- Base Salary: Competitive (based on experience) / (KES 60,000 – 100,000 (Net per month)
- Commission: Uncapped, performance-based
- Transport Allowance: Provided
- Airtime Allowance: Provided
- Probation Period: 3-month contract, renewable to permanent upon performance
- Reporting to: Sales Manager & C.E.O
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Identify, qualify, and pursue prospective clients with vehicle fleets
- Engage decision-makers through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, field visits, and referrals
- Attend transport yards, business parks, logistics hubs, and trade shows to generate leads
- Support the team in developing sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
Product Demonstrations
- Deliver product demos (in-person/virtual) focused on:
- Fuel level monitoring in real-time
- Siphonage and tamper detection alerts
- Refuel validation and variance tracking
- Monthly savings from optimized fuel consumption
Deal Conversion
- Develop proposals tailored to client needs and fleet size
- Lead negotiation and contract closure
- Liaise with technical support to ensure smooth onboarding
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain up-to-date records of leads, deals, and communication logs
- Log activities and status updates in CRM software
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports
Client Follow-Up & Market Intelligence
- Conduct post-sale follow-up to build long-term relationships and generate referrals
- Gather market feedback to inform product improvements and feature development
Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably SaaS, software, or fleet technology.
- Strong prospecting, sales presentation, and deal-closing skills
- Experience selling to fleet operators, logistics firms, contractors, or transport businesses
- Familiarity with fuel sensor is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication in English and Kiswahili
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and move quickly
- Fast learner with strong communication and adaptability skills
- Has worked in startups and contributed to business growth and client acquisition
- Must posses a rich database of fleet managers in the logistics, fmcg and manufacturing companies.
