Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage network infrastructure – firewalls, VPNs and wireless networks
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects and system upgrades
- Maintain up to date documentation of network configurations, procedures and policies
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper or similar networking technologies
- Working knowledge of all major routing protocols
- Experience with network tools and security practices
- Relevant certifications e.g CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are a plus
- Demonstrable experience in a service provider environment
