We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our team in Nairobi.
The ideal candidate will manage our IT infrastructure and security operations ensuring reliable systems, smooth network performance, and top-tier data protection across the business.
Responsibilities
- Administer servers, databases systems ensuring 99.5% uptime
- Manage network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, and telephony systems
- Implement and monitor security systems, conduct patch management, and ensure compliance
- Oversee backup systems and coordinate quarterly disaster recovery testing
- Collaborate with application and Bl teams to support integrated business operations
Requirements
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
- 3-4 years’ experience in infrastructure and systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, and security tools
- Certifications in CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Server Administration preferred
- Experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS)
Location: Nairobi
Reports to: Head of IT
