Reporting to the HEAD OF INTERNAL MEDICINE DEPARTMENT.

Purpose: To glorify God through the provision of excellent clinical care to all inpatient medical patients.

  • Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of Internal Medicine conditions
  • Develop individualized diagnostic tests and treatment plans
  • To perform diagnostic & therapeutic procedures pertinent to the care of these patients
  • Monitor and follow up on patient progress and treatment effectiveness
  • To supervise and coordinate care with nurses, specialists and other healthcare staff
  • Supervise, mentor and teach residents, interns and students
  • Lead bedside teaching rounds and participate in case discussions and confere
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
  • Masters Degree in Internal Medicine (MMed Internal Medicine)
  • Registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
  • Possess a valid private practicing License
  • Must be capable of functioning effectively both as a team player and a team leader
