Human Resource Management Officer II processing staff payroll, managing personnel records, assisting in recruitment, and handling staff welfare matters, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Social Sciences with a Higher Diploma in HR, and IHRM membership.

Duties at this level will entail: Implementing human resource management policies, strategies, guidelines, and standards; Drafting and verifying routine correspondence; Preparing human resource management reports and summaries; Processing and verifying payroll; Data entry and processing; Preparing agendas and implementing board resolutions; Maintaining the human resource management database; Collating and analyzing training applications; Processing employee recruitment, promotion, and exit documents; Processing leave applications, sick sheets, and sick leave; Maintaining compliment control.

Qualifications

For appointment to this level, a candidate must have: – 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; 

OR 

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Public Administration, Sociology, or Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution, plus a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or a Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) course from a recognized and accredited institution; and 
• Proficiency in computer applications.
