Role Overview
The Environmental Mentee program is a one-year voluntary opportunity designed to give young people practical experience in climate action and leadership.
Responsibilities
- As an Environmental Mentee, you will participate in planned climate and greening initiatives such as tree planting, forest restoration, and greening schools and health facilities.
- You will learn how to design and write project proposals, gain exposure to intergenerational knowledge sharing, and take part in initiatives that strengthen both communities and youth voices.
- Additionally, you will benefit from mentorship from the best scientist across the globe.
- Each mentee will be expected to develop and lead one activity each quarter, demonstrating initiative and creativity.
- During the interview process, you will be asked to share your proposed community-based idea for reverting global warming,which you will then implement during the program.
- You will also take part in capacity building and community learning, working closely with mentors and peers to create meaningful impact.

Who We Are Looking For
- This program is open to young people who are passionate about the environment, mental health, and youth-led change.
- We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, collaborate, and take initiative.
- You must be willing to commit three days per month for one year, and ready to present your proposed quarterly activity plan during the interview process.
