Limlak Sacco is looking for a qualified and dynamic Digital Community Officer to manage and grow the Sacco’s online presence, engage members across digital platforms, and support the institution’s digital transformation initiatives.

  • Manage and grow the Sacco’s presence across social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Develop and implement a digital content calendar aligned with the Sacco’s communication and marketing strategy
  • Create engaging content (posts, graphics, videos, and articles) to promote the Sacco’s products and services
  • Monitor, respond to, and manage member queries, comments, and feedback across digital channels in a timely manner
  • Track and report on social media and digital engagement metrics, providing insights for improvement
  • Support the onboarding and education of members on digital banking channels (Mobile App, USSD, etc.)
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and customer service teams to ensure a consistent brand voice across all digital touchpoints
  • Identify and escalate digital risks, complaints, or reputational issues promptly
  • Stay updated on digital trends and recommend innovative ways to enhance member engagement
  • Support digital campaigns for member recruitment, product uptake, and financial literacy
  • Diploma/Degree in ICT, Digital Marketing, Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in social media/digital community management, preferably in a financial services or Sacco environment
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity, initiative and strong customer-service skills.
  • Basic graphic design/video editing skills is an added advantage
