Customer Service Jobs. Kenya Rural Roads Authority Jobs

  • Guide and usher clients and visitors;
  • Register, issue and maintain visitors passes;
  • Renew and updating visitors passes;
  • Provide general feedback to customer inquiries, escalate and follow through on enquiries
  • Maintain records and data of visits;
  • Making follow up of enquiries;
  • Receive and direct telephone calls;
  • Upholding the image and reputation of the Authority
  • Coordinate reception activities; and
  • Forward customer care feedback to the Senior or Principal Customer Care Assistant

For appointment to this grade an officer must have: –

  •  Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Customer Care Assistant II or in a comparable position;
  • Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, Customer Care, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Secretarial Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;

Successful candidates MUST satisfy the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and shall be required to present the following documents before the offer letter.

  • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (TCC);
  • Certificate of clearance from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
  • Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI);
  • Dully filled and stamped Self-Declaration/Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
  • Clearance certificate from approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
