At Eni, we are seeking a Security Coordinator to join Eni Natural Energies Kenya EPZ Ltd. in Nairobi. You will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director and the Security Manager in providing security advice and services across the organisation, safeguarding employees, expatriates and company facilities from physical threats, identifying and mitigating technological risks, and implementing effective measures to protect proprietary information, company data and day-to-day employee interactions.

  • Support the development and implementation of security plans and objectives.
  • Assess, monitor and manage security risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company standards.
  • Provide expert security advice and support to management.
  • Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies and crises, ensuring timely reporting and escalation.
  • Gather and analyse security and business intelligence to support risk management and decision-making.
  • Maintain effective relationships with local authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support investigations and security checks to protect employees, assets, information and company interests.
  • Monitor security incidents, trends and human rights-related issues, ensuring appropriate reporting and follow-up.
  • Review security audits and drive improvements to local security management systems.
  • Protect employees, contractors, third parties, company assets and Eni’s reputation by implementing effective risk mitigation measures.
  • Take prompt action to prevent security risks from escalating and affecting people, assets, the environment or public safety.
  • Secondary-level technical education (degree preferred).
  • Security, paramilitary and cyber security training.
  • Fluent in English; Kiswahili would be an advantage.
  • Experience in security operations.
  • Knowledge of local security procedures and risk management practices.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable and results-oriented, with the ability to think laterally.
