Overview
Our client is a leading appointed importer and distributor of various world leading alcohol brands. They are looking to hire Sales & Financial Data Analyst will support the organization by transforming raw sales and financial data into meaningful insights. The role involves monitoring sales KPIs, analyzing financial performance, building automated reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across commercial and finance teams. The analyst will work with the Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Sales Managers to ensure data accuracy, enhance reporting, and identify improvement opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
Sales Analytics
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets
- Conduct sales trend analysis across regions, products, and customer segments
- Evaluate pipeline performance, win/loss trends, and sales productivity
- Create sales scorecards and performance dashboards for management
- Support sales incentive and commission calculations with data accuracy
Financial Analysis
- Analyze revenue, margins, operating costs, and profitability
- Assist with monthly financial close through variance and trend analysis
- Prepare financial reports that summarize business performance
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop interactive dashboards
- Improve and automate reporting processes to reduce manual workload
- Validate data accuracy across SFA, ERP and financial systems
Business Insights & Strategic Support
- Provide actionable insights to sales managers and finance teams
- Support pricing reviews, market assessments, and customer performance analyses
- Identify revenue growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies
- Provide insights for product strategy, channel performance, and market expansion
Other Responsibilities
- Assist to reconcile bank statements
- Assist to maintain fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation
- Assist to prepare and file statutory returns
- Assist with payment processing
- Support internal and external audits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in sales analytics, financial analysis, or business intelligence
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong analytical and visualization skills
- Strong quantitative abilities and problem-solving skills
- Experience in SAGE, SFA or any other system will be required
