We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Technician – Mechanical. The Mechanical QA/QC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Management System
• (QMS) for mechanical works.
• Knowledge of Codes and standards applicable in Mechanical Engineering and Construction . ex. ASME, API, ANSI, ASNT … etc
• 3-7 years’ experience in mechanical QA/QC within construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct inspections of mechanical installations including Pressure Vessels, Storage tanks, Piping, Equipment installation, Structural projects.
• Perform routine and special inspections during fabrication,
• Witness and record mechanical tests such as pressure testing, leak testing alignment checks and functional testing
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents including inspection reports, test records, NCRs, and quality dossiers
• Identify non-conformities and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure closure.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors and clients on quality matters.
• Participate in quality meetings, audits, and toolbox talks.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Field
• 3-7 Years experience in mechanical QA/QC within construction, manufacturing,oil,gas or infrastructure
• Certification in QA/QC (e.g.ISO 9001, CSWIP, AWS, or equivalent) is an added advantage

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
