Role Objective
Our client a hotel, is seeking a skilled, proactive, and reliable Electrician to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the hotel’s electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, generators, and UPS.
- Service and maintain hotel equipment, including kitchen appliances, laundry machines, HVAC, and water heating systems.
- Inspect guest rooms, conference facilities, and public areas to identify and rectify electrical faults.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and keep accurate maintenance records.
- Support general maintenance activities and perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
- Candidates residing in or near Machakos are encouraged to apply.
