Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, one must have:
- Be a Kenyan Citizen; and
- Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C (Plain) with a minimum of C+ (Plus) in English and Kiswahili and C (Plain) in any other relevant subjects or its approved equivalent qualification;
- Have a Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution;
- Be proficient in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpretation of designers rough sketches and turning them into finished drawings under guidance and supervision of a senior officer;
- Typography setting;
- Pasting drawings, layout of artistic drawings and sketches;
- Drawing illustrations; and
- Cover designs of booklets, magazines and printing works.

How to Apply
Candidates should complete one KCPSB 2 Employment form. The completed KCPSB 2 Employment form, together with certified copies of applicant’s National Identity Card, professional certificates, academic certificates and transcripts, should be submitted to the Kitui County Public Service Board jobs portal on or before Wednesday 4th February, 2026.
