Job Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing risk management Performance contract, work plan and budget;
- Preparing risk mitigation plan;
- Carrying out quarterly routine awareness programs to manage risk;
- Supervising, developing and appraising staff working under him/her.
- Guiding departments on implementation of risk management framework;
- Conducting Risk Management training to staff;
- Ensuring appropriate management of risk to the Authority, employees, customers, reputation, assets and interests of stakeholders;
- Responding to regular risk questions and concerns within the Authority.
- Monitoring implementation of risk management framework.
- Continuously review NEMA risk management policies in line with international best practice
- Describing and estimating the cost of risks affecting the Authority;

Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Development or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Master’s Degree in any of the following fields; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Development or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
- Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 year(s) as a Middle-Level Manager in with relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 year(s) as a Senior-Level Manager in with supervisory experience
General Qualifications
- Training in Risk management;
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
- Member of a relevant professional body;
