About the Role

We are looking for a network administrator to join our Information Technology team and manage our network infrastructure across multiple regions. You will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices, servers, and cloud services. You will also troubleshoot network issues, monitor network performance, and ensure network security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement network solutions for new and existing projects, including network architecture, hardware, software, and protocols.
• Manage and administer network devices, servers, and cloud services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, AWS network resources, etc.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and reliability, using appropriate tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, etc.
• Diagnose and resolve network problems, such as connectivity, latency, bandwidth, security, etc.
• Ensure network security and compliance, following industry standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.
• Document and update network policies, procedures, diagrams, and inventory.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff.
• Research and evaluate new network technologies and trends.
• Manage network vendors and service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in network technologies, such as CCNA and CCNP. Cloud certifications would be an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience as a network administrator, engineer, or specialist.
• Strong knowledge and experience of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience of network software, such as operating systems, network management tools, etc.
• General knowledge and experience of cloud services, especially AWS, such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, etc.
• Experience working in financial services industry is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other IT professionals.
• Dedicated approach to providing a best-in-class service.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
