Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST: –

• Motor Vehicle Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate Grade III with proven practical Experience of three years as Motor Vehicle Mechanic III
• KCSE Mean Grade of D+(Plus) or its equivalent 

 Or 

• Relevant Preliminary Level Apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of industrial Training with a proven practical experience of three years as Motor Vehicle mechanic III

Or

• Relevant preliminary level certificate awarded by the kenya institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBIT) with proven practical experience of three years as Motor vehicle Mechanic III
• A valid driving license.
