Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities entail

• Reading and interpreting drawings for works;
• Carrying out costing and quantity of works and equipment;
• Supervise maintain works and equipment;
• Supervise staff under them to work as assigned;
• Preparing work schedules;
• Making requisition of requires materials from central stores;
• Supervising construction work on internal projects;
• Reporting on technical matters in relation to construction projects; and
• Ensuring delivery of quality services and workmanship.

Required Qualification

For appointment to this grade, a staff must have: –

• At least three (3) years’ work experience at the grade of Works Officer II or in a comparable position;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or any other relevant field;
• Registration with the Engineer’s Board of Kenya or relevant professional body;
• Proficiency in computer application.
