Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving/collecting, recording of specimens;
• Processing and analyses
• Preparing reagents;
• Recording and reporting of results;
• Dispatching the results for clinical;
• Routine and daily maintenance of laboratory specimen;
• Ensure adherence to biosafety and biosecurity guidelines;
• Taking part in preparation of Standards Operations Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements for Appointment

• Kenyan Citizen
• Diploma in any of the following fields: Medical Laboratory Science/ Analytical Chemistry/Applied Sciences/ Food Science and Technology/Medical Laboratory Technology/Biotechnology or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Registration Certificate issued by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) where applicable or any other recognized regulatory body.
• Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists where applicable.
• Computer application certificate

• Interested and qualified persons  should download and fill employment forms  available in the Siaya County Public Service Board website : www.cpsb.siaya.go.ke. And submit the same on or before 12th January, 2026 at 4 p.m. (Applicants should not attach any credentials in the job application form)
