Engineering Jobs. Signvrse Jobs

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to drive our ML research and productionize models that actually work at scale. You’ll be working on everything from sequence-to-sequence translation models to computer vision systems that understand and evaluate sign language motion quality.

You’ll join a team that’s passionate about understanding what makes sign language animations accurate, natural, and trustworthy for the deaf community. As an integral part of the team, you’ll collaborate with 3D animators, engineers, and sign language experts in prototyping and productizing brand-new ML at the intersection of language translation, motion analysis, and 3D animation generation.

This is the kind of work where you get to publish research AND see it impact real people’s ability to communicate.

  • You’re comfortable with transformers. You’ve trained sequence-to-sequence models, you understand attention mechanisms, and you know your way around BERT, GPT, T5, or similar architectures.
  • Computer vision doesn’t intimidate you. Pose estimation, motion analysis, video understanding – you’ve worked with visual data and know how to extract meaningful features from it.
  • You’ve done something with RL. Whether it’s robotics, game AI, or optimization problems – you understand the core concepts and have implemented RL algorithms.
  • Data is your foundation. You know that models are only as good as the data. You’re comfortable building pipelines, cleaning datasets, managing annotations, and thinking about data quality.
  • You’re a researcher who ships. You can read papers, implement algorithms, run experiments, AND get things to production. You care about both science and engineering.
  • Python is your daily driver. PyTorch or TensorFlow, numpy, pandas – this is your toolkit. You write code that others can read and maintain.

What would be amazing (but not required):

  • Experience with 3D data (point clouds, meshes, skeletal animations)
  • Generative models background (VAEs, GANs, diffusion)
  • Multimodal learning experience
  • Cloud ML platform experience
