Community Development Facilitator Job Baraka Agriculture College Nairobi, Kenya
The objective of the job is:
- To build capacities of target communities to utilize the available resources for improved food security, nutrition and income.
Key Requirements and Experience
- Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture, or Agriculture Extension with 2 years of working with communities in agriculture or Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture or Agriculture and Extension with 3 years or more experience in agriculture community related projects. Passionate and committed to empowering marginalized individuals and communities so that they can achieve decent livelihoods from available resources.
- Ability and experience in teaching/facilitation;
- Experience of working in a structured organization;
- Experience in participatory management and program approaches
- Conflict management skills;
- Good analytical, writing, reporting and presentation skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Must be computer literate, conversant with operating software applications; and
- Experience with donor community will be an added advantage.
- Skills in riding motorbike
