Category Lead – Marketing (Beverages) Job BIDCO
Sales & Marketing Jobs, BIDCO Jobs. Responsible for leading marketing strategy for food and snacks, managing brands, developing campaigns, driving trade activations, supporting new product development, and tracking category performance. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5–8 years of FMCG marketing experience. The position is based in Ruiru and requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities
- Category Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the annual marketing plan, identify growth opportunities and turn insights into action.
- Brand Management & Communication: Build strong brand positioning, run 360° campaigns and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Trade & Channel Activation: Boost visibility, conversion and distribution across GT, MT and HoReCa.
- Innovation & Portfolio Development: Bring new ideas to life and grow the beverage portfolio.
- Data & Performance Management: Monitor category performance, guide investment and prepare business reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. CIM or MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5–8 years in FMCG marketing, with at least 3 years in beverage, food or related category management roles.
- Preferred:
- Beverage industry experience
- Digital & influencer marketing
- SAP (S4HANA), BI dashboards or analytics tools
