Branch Manager Job Brisk Credit Kajiado, Kenya
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Daily Branch Operations
- Ensure smooth and efficient running of all branch activities and services.
- Monitor compliance with operational procedures and internal controls.
Drive Business Growth
- Develop and implement strategies to increase loans, deposits, and customer acquisition.
- Identify new business opportunities within the branch’s area of operation.
Manage Credit and Loan Portfolio
- Evaluate loan applications and ensure proper credit assessment procedures are followed.
- Monitor loan performance and minimize portfolio-at-risk and default rates.
Lead and Supervise Branch Staff
- Assign duties, provide guidance, and monitor employee performance.
- Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance appraisals.
Ensure Excellent Customer Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure Regulatory and Policy Compliance
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, financial regulations, and risk management guidelines.
- Prepare for audits and implement recommendations where necessary.
Monitor Financial Performance
- Track branch budgets, revenue targets, and profitability indicators.
- Prepare periodic financial and operational reports for management.
Manage Risk and Portfolio Quality
- Identify operational, credit, and fraud risks within the branch.
- Implement measures to safeguard institutional assets and customer funds.
Promote Credit Products and Services
- Market loans, savings products, and other financial services to existing and potential clients.
- Organize community outreach and business development activities.
