Senior Assistant Director of Medical Services- Anaesthesiologist Job Machakos CPSB Machakos, Kenya
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients’ vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors.
- Working with a medical team to design a patient’s treatment plan.
- Supervising nurses when they administer anesthesia to patients before procedures.
- Monitoring vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed.
- Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing and vital signs.
- Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness.
- Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
- Masters in anesthesia.
- Certificate of Registration by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
- Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability as reflected in work performance and results
