Responsibilities
This is not a traditional legal role. You will be at the center of:
- Structuring investment products (unit trusts, institutional mandates, alternative vehicles)
- Interpreting and applying CMA regulations in real time
- Advising leadership on regulatory, governance, and legal risk
- Supporting capital markets transactions and product launches
- Driving board governance, company secretarial excellence, and regulatory engagement
- Managing legal risk, disputes, and regulatory interactions
- Drafting and negotiating key agreements (fund management, custody, distribution, partnerships)
- You won’t just review documents. You will shape decisions.
Qualifications
- You are trained in law and understand corporate, commercial, or capital markets practice
- You can move between legal detail and strategic thinking effortlessly
- You understand that governance is not paperwork; it is power
- You are structured, precise, and confident engaging senior leadership
