Juice Barista Job (50K)

Looking for a hospitality job in Kenya? Brites Management is recruiting a Juice Barista position. The salary for the role is Ksh 50,000 monthly. Proficiency in beverage preparation, food safety, and customer service is required.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and wellness shots according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate heavy-duty juicers, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all beverages.
• Customize orders based on customer dietary needs and preferences where required.

Hygiene and Food Safety

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the preparation area at all times.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of fresh ingredients.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils.

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and take orders in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide product recommendations and explain ingredients and health benefits where needed.
• Ensure prompt and accurate order delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.

 Stock and Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Report shortages, spoilage, or wastage to management.
• Support proper stock rotation using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.

 Equipment Handling and Maintenance

• Operate and care for juicing and blending equipment responsibly.
• Report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.

Compliance and Quality Control

• Follow all company recipes and preparation standards strictly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in presentation and product quality at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Service, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Juice Barista in a high-end restaurant, café, or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Experience operating commercial juicers and blenders.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Creativity in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.
• High level of personal hygiene and professionalism
