ICT Assistant III Job WRA

Job Summary

  • This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

ICT Function

  • This cadre is responsible for promoting, facilitating and managing information communication and technology to enhance service delivery of the Authority.

Duties and Responsibilities will entail:

  • Providing support in the use of ICT hardware and reporting any faults for further action;
  • Providing user support and training of users;
  • Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
  • Preparing maintenance and repair reports;
  • Maintaining an up-to-date ICT equipment register and issuance register; and
  • Configuring of new Information Communication Technology equipment.

Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Information Technology, Computer Technology, Business IT, ICT Project Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.

Terms of Service and Remuneration

Successful candidates will serve for a probationary period of six (6) months, and thereafter convert to Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service. Remuneration will be subject to the existing terms approved by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
