Clinical Officer -Paediatrics Job Mediforte Hospital
Looking for a medical job in Kenya? Mediforte Hospital is recruiting a Clinical Officer – Paediatrics position. Proficiency in paediatric diagnosis, patient management, and emergency care is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients in the outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and newborn units.
- Provide routine and emergency medical care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Manage common childhood illnesses in accordance with national treatment guidelines and hospital protocols.
- Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals in patient management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Higher Diploma in Paediatrics and Child Health.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ post-qualification experience in paediatric practice within a busy hospital.
