Travel & Client Relations Job (50-60K)
Our client is a growing travel company operating under a diversified group of companies, is seeking to hire an experienced, customer-focused, and highly organized Travel Operations & Client Relations Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating travel operations, managing client relationships, developing strategic partnerships within the hospitality industry, and ensuring the seamless delivery of travel experiences and executive travel services.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple travel arrangements while maintaining exceptional service standards
Key Responsibilities
- Travel Partner & Supplier Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, resorts, tour operators, airlines, transport providers, destination management companies, and other hospitality partners.
- Supplier Onboarding & Contracting – Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain travel and hospitality service providers to ensure a reliable network of quality partners.
- Travel Products & Service Catalogue Management – Develop and maintain comprehensive travel, accommodation, transportation, and hospitality service catalogues to support client engagements and business development efforts.
- Travel Reservations & Bookings – Coordinate flight reservations, hotel bookings, airport transfers, transport arrangements, tours, excursions, and other travel-related services.
- Itinerary Planning & Coordination – Prepare detailed travel itineraries and ensure seamless coordination of client travel requirements from booking through completion of travel.
- Executive Travel Support – Coordinate executive travel arrangements, VIP services, business travel requirements, and logistics support for corporate clients and senior executives.
- Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE) Support – Assist in planning and coordinating conferences, corporate retreats, meetings, incentive travel programmes, and special events.
- Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Service Quality Assurance – Monitor service delivery standards across travel and hospitality partners to ensure consistent customer experiences and quality control.
- Business Development Support – Identify new partnership opportunities, destination offerings, hospitality products, and market opportunities that support company growth objectives.
- Market Research & Industry Trends – Stay informed on travel trends, tourism developments, emerging destinations, hospitality offerings, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting & Documentation – Maintain accurate records of bookings, client interactions, supplier agreements, travel arrangements, and operational reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Travel & Tours Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tours and travel, hospitality, reservations, travel operations, client relationship management, tourism coordination, hotel partnerships, or executive travel services.
- Experience working with hotels, airlines, tour operators, destination management companies, and corporate travel clients.
- Strong understanding of travel operations, hospitality management, reservations systems, and customer service standards.
- Knowledge of MICE operations and executive travel services is an added advantage.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and travel reservation systems is an added advantage.
