St Christopher’s International School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics and Physics (Secondary) to join our thriving school community from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to contribute to a dynamic Secondary School within a genuinely all-through setting. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics and Physics across Key Stages 3 to 5, with a particular focus on Cambridge IGCSE and ideally, A Level. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about both subjects, committed to excellent classroom practice and eager to inspire pupils to think logically, solve problems confidently and develop strong analytical and scientific understanding.

Key Responsibilities
The role The successful candidate will:
- Teach Mathematics and Physics across Key Stages 3 to 5, including IGCSE and ideally A Level
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and academically ambitious lessons that support excellent pupil progress
- Foster curiosity, resilience, precision and confidence in mathematical and scientific thinking
- Contribute to the continued development of the Mathematics and Physics curriculum, assessment and teaching practice
- Support pupils pastorally and play a full part in the life of the Secondary School
- Contribute positively to the wider co-curricular programme and broader school community
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and phases in support of whole-school priorities
- Uphold and model the school’s values, ethos and commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing
Qualifications
- A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
- Successful experience teaching Mathematics and Physics within the British or Cambridge curriculum
- Experience of Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics and Physics and ideally A Level
- Strong subject knowledge and a track record of effective classroom practice
- High expectations for pupil achievement, conduct and presentation
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and the wellbeing of all pupils
- Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or eligibility to obtain TSC registration prior to taking up the post
- A willingness to contribute fully to the wider life of the school
