Salesperson – Service-based Sales identifying prospects and pitching agricultural services to NGOs and similar organisations, requiring a degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or Agribusiness and at least 5 years sales or business development experience including selling services to organisations, in an agricultural services environment, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying prospects and building a strong service-sales pipeline
• Researching crop supply chains and prospective clients’ needs
• Pitching agricultural services to NGOs and similar organisations
• Preparing pitch decks, presentations and sales reports
• Conducting calls, meetings and consistent follow-ups
• Maintaining accurate prospect lists and communication records
• Using market insights to strengthen service positioning
• Meeting outreach and client-onboarding targets

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness or a related field; a relevant certificate supported by equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• At least five years’ experience in sales or business development, including selling services to organisations
• Demonstrable experience in prospecting, pitching, follow-ups and client onboarding
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides
• The ability and willingness to learn about agricultural services and crop supply chains
• A self-motivated approach and the ability to integrate quickly into a team
