About the Role

Pavicon Kenya Limited is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager – Civil to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering works across our telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient delivery of BTS rollout, fiber deployments, tower construction, and related civil projects across Kenya.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in site-based civil project management, outstanding leadership skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of quality, safety, and compliance within the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction works, from planning through to execution, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, including onboarding, performance tracking, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Conduct site visits, support field teams, resolve technical issues, and ensure all work aligns with standards.
• Prepare regular project reports, track expenses, and ensure financial adherence.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure clear communication across clients, teams, and management.
• Enforce compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years’ practical experience in civil construction, preferably in telecom infrastructure projects.
• Must possess a valid Prince2 or PMP certification.
• Must be registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
• Proven experience in supervising large-scale civil projects and coordinating field operations.
• Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and cost management.
• Strong knowledge of industry safety protocols and quality standards.
• Familiarity with project management tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
• OEM certification and hands-on experience with telecom infrastructure is highly desirable.
