About The Role

  • The LPG Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales, improving ARPU, reducing asset losses, and managing LPG Sales Agents in their assigned area. Reporting to the LPG Regional Sales Manager, the ASM ensures operational execution is efficient by working closely with the operations team.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and retain LPG Sales Agents.
  • Coach agents to meet sales targets, manage consumption (ARPU), and deliver excellent customer service.

Operational Coordination:

  • Work with the operations team to ensure installations, exchanges, and other services are completed within 24 hours.
  • Monitor RAs/ICs to ensure they perform their duties as expected.

Stock & Inventory Management:

  • Ensure sufficient cylinders, stoves, and FMCDs are available at depots.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and resolve potential shortages.

Customer & Field Engagement:

  • Support field teams in addressing customer issues promptly.
  • Conduct market activations, community outreach, and group sales
  • initiatives to drive adoption.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to the RSM on:

  • Sales and ARPU
  • Agent recruitment, training, and retention
  • Asset loss, stock levels, and operational issues
  • Conduct weekly review meetings (Table Meetings) with Sales Agents to track performance and recognize top performers.
  • Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of field sales experience, preferably in LPG, FMCG, Micro-Finance, or Telecom.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and operational management skills.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Self-driven, process-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Passionate about clean energy and providing safe, affordable LPG solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
