Lecturers – Geomatics Engineering (Land Survey) Job RCMRD
Engineering Jobs, RCMRD Jobs. Responsible for teaching and mentoring students in geospatial and related programmes, preparing learning materials, conducting practical training, assessing students, supervising projects, supporting research activities, and contributing to curriculum development and academic programmes. Requires a relevant Master’s degree or higher in area of interest with relevant teaching or industry experience. The positions are based in Nairobi and require on-site work.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Valuation, Land Administration, Land Economics, Urban and Regional Planning, Quantity Surveying, Law, or any other relevant field
Professional Experience
- Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional and/or industry experience in land surveying, geomatics, geospatial engineering, land administration, construction, architecture, valuation, or a related field.
Professional Qualifications, Skills and Membership
- Applicants should have relevant professional registration, membership and/or industry-recognized certifications. Membership with relevant professional bodies, including the
- Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) or Law Society of Kenya (LSK), where applicable, will be highly desirable.

- Cadastral Surveying
- Engineering Surveying
- Control Surveying
- Sectional Property Surveys
- GIS and Spatial Databases
- Enterprise GIS Platforms
- Esri Technical Certifications
- QGIS and Database Administration
- Autodesk Civil 3D Certification
- ArchiCAD Certification
- Building Information Modelling (BIM)
- Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Revit
- Other recognized certifications relevant to architecture, engineering, surveying,
- geospatial technologies, construction and related disciplines
