Laboratory Technologist – Machakos Job Equity Afia
Medical Jobs, Equity Afia Jobs. Responsible for performing diagnostic tests and analysing clinical specimens, preparing samples, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate laboratory records, following quality control procedures, and supporting the detection and diagnosis of diseases. Requires a Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, at least one year of internship experience
Is responsible for performing complex diagnostic tests and analyses on clinical specimens to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
- At least one year of internship working experience
- Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board
- Trained and must demonstrate understanding of Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives
- Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
