Role overview

We’re looking for curious, driven recent graduates to begin their global careers as Junior Python Engineers through the Tana Fellowship Program. You’ll join a global network security company and be considered for one of two closely related tracks, depending on your interests and strengths:

• Junior Solutions Developer (Python)
• Junior Infrastructure Engineer (Python)

Both tracks offer hands-on experience, real production impact, and strong mentorship. During the application process, we’ll explore which path is the best fit for you.

Role 1: Junior Solutions Developer (Python)

Customer-facing |Solution delivery |Integrations

This track is for candidates who enjoy building real solutions that customers actively use. You’ll work closely with professional services teams and customers to design, build, and deliver Python-based integrations around enterprise software products. Your work will directly support customer deployments, customizations, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development lifecycle of customer solutions, from design to implementation.
• Develop Python-based customization and integration code around the client’s products.
• Integrate the client’s products with third-party systems using APIs.
• Work closely with the Services team and customers to define and deliver solutions.
• Develop and deploy solutions in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Assist in delivery, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support for customer solutions.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of full-time dedicated hands-on experience post-graduation using Python for development.
• Basic understanding of APIs (REST preferred).
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based environments.
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes or container orchestration concepts.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment, including discussions, delivery, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues independently.
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
• A strong motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Nice to haves: Basic networking knowledge; experience with frontend tools or frameworks (e.g., Vue.js or similar).

Role 2: Junior Infrastructure Engineer (Python)

Platform-focused| Quality & reliability| Internal enablement

This track is for candidates who enjoy understanding systems deeply and making them more reliable. You’ll join a platform architecture team that builds and maintains internal tooling, infrastructure, and automation used by engineers. The focus is less on direct customer delivery and more on quality, testing, and developer enablement.

Responsibilities

• QA and testing improvements: involves implementing QA automation, expanding regression test coverage, and progress toward fully automated end-to-end testing.
• Supportability and developer enablement: involves creating and maintaining supportability checklists and diagnostic tools, assisting developers with troubleshooting, validating, and testing in isolated Kubernetes cluster environments.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Python for development and testing (e.g., syntax, OOP, packaging, testing frameworks) with at least 1+ year of full-time dedicated experience post-graduation.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization, including debugging build and dependency issues.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and orchestration concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset and persistence when investigating issues.
• Clear written English communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
• A strong motivation to learn how platforms and systems work end-to-end.
• Nice to haves: Foundations in networking; deeper experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
