Job Summary:
The Issuing Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely issuing, recording, and tracking of raw materials within the warehouse or production area. This role ensures materials are properly documented, stored, and handled according to company procedures to maintain smooth operations and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue raw materials and maintain accurate records in relevant systems and documents.
- Inspect, verify, and update material information and material cards regularly.
- Monitor and guide handlers to ensure materials are placed in the correct storage areas.
- Manage the handover of documents and materials, including counting, recording, and recovering returned items.
- Support continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with warehouse management procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diligent, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Strong sense of responsibility and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and material handling processes is an added advantage.
- Diploma or Degree in related field.
