ICT Assistant I Job KMTC
IT Jobs, KMTC Jobs. Senior ICT Officer oversees ICT infrastructure and technical support, requiring a Computer Science/IT Bachelor’s degree, professional ICT certifications, and 6+ years experience (3+ as ICT Officer I). Full-time role in Kenya.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ relevant work experience three (3) years should have been in the grade of ICT Assistant II or in a comparable position.
- Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, ICT, IT, ICT Systems Support, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering & Maintenance, Computer Networking, Software Development, Business Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Responsibilities
- Analysing, designing, testing and implementing ICT applications;
- Providing advanced user support; Maintaining and support ICT systems;
- Training end users in ICT systems; Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment;
- Maintaining and updating online sites and portals;
- Maintaining Local Area Networks and Wide Area networks; and
- Escalating any faults for further action.
