Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Safety Environment Officer located in Kisumu County, Kenya. The Health Safety Environment Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, implementing health and safety guidelines, conducting safety audits, and providing training to employees. The officer will also assess potential risks, develop safety protocols, monitor compliance with industry standards, and investigate incidents to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- Skills in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health
- Workplace Safety management skills
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
