Cascade Company Limited is the Home for Urban and Continental dishes located in Thika and Nairobi town offering quality, delicious and affordable meals, catering services.

Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and experienced Head Chefs to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidates will have strong culinary skills, creativity, and leadership ability to manage kitchen staff, maintain high food standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operation

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute creative and high-quality menus aligned with the restaurant’s concept.
• Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain excellent culinary standards.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Control food costs, minimize waste, and work within budget guidelines.
• Collaborate with management on menu updates, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently during service.
• Enforce the restaurant’s code of conduct strictly, no alcohol, drug use, or violence in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive kitchen experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Head Chef role.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team.
• Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Creativity and passion for delivering exceptional food
