Medical Jobs, Nyamira County Public Service Board Jobs. Responsible for collecting and receiving bodies, recording information, identifying bodies, preparing bodies for burial, cleaning and dressing bodies, and maintaining farewell home equipment. Requires a KCSE mean grade of D or equivalent. The position is based in Nyamira and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Mortuary Science from a recognized institution
• Have a minimum qualification of KCSE mean grade of D+(Plus) and above
• Registered by Kenya Health Professional Oversight Authority and have a valid practicing license
• Proficiency in computer application skills.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bodies and human specimens for pathological investigations
• Prepare and preserve bodies in the compartment tray of the refrigerator.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in the mortuary
• Keep and maintain morgue records.
• Release body to authorized person;
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
