ETP Plant Supervisor Job Keitt
Keitt is one of Kenya’s leading integrated agribusiness companies, specializing in the production, processing, and export of fresh fruits, vegetables, and value-added agricultural products. Our Avocado Oil Division operates a modern processing facility producing premium-quality crude avocado oil for international markets.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated ETP Plant Supervisor to join our team and oversee the efficient operation of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring environmental compliance and operational excellence.
Key Requirements
- Diploma in Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating an industrial Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), wastewater treatment plant, or water treatment facility.
- Experience in food processing, edible oils, fruit processing, dairy, beverage, or similar manufacturing industries.
- Good knowledge of DAF systems, chemical dosing, biological treatment processes, sludge handling, and dewatering.
- Understanding of COD, BOD, TSS, and pH monitoring and control.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps, blowers, and other treatment equipment.
- Computer literacy with strong report-writing skills.
- Understanding of environmental compliance and wastewater discharge requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Experience with NEMA compliance and environmental reporting.
- Previous experience supervising ETP operators and contractors.
