Consultant, Phlebotomist, LOSHAK, Population Health Job AKUH
Medical Jobs, AKUH Jobs. Responsible for collecting and handling blood samples, performing phlebotomy procedures, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, maintaining accurate patient and sample records, following infection prevention and safety procedures, supporting population health programmes, and ensuring quality standards are maintained. Requires a relevant qualification in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma in laboratory science, nursing or clinical medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Fluency in English, Kiswahili and local dialect.
- Previous experience in surveys and field work.
- Proficiency in ICT and computer/tablet usage and associated applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Culturally adaptable and sensitive.
