• Our client is a medium-sized recycling manufacturing company chief accountant will oversee and manage all financial operations of our recycling and manufacturing company. He/she will be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting,
• Finance or a related field.
• Cpa kenya certification. Strong understanding of financial regulations
• And tax laws in kenya.
• Proficiency in sage accounting software is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position within the recycling, manufacturing or related industry.
• Kshs. 120,000 – 150,000 plus company benefits

Main responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor and manage cost control, inventory accounting and financial analysis.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and reporting.
• Lead and mentor the finance team. Implement and improve accounting systems and controls (experience with sage accounting software is a plus).
