Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute high-quality and innovative menus
- Prepare meals while ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
- Delegate duties and supervise kitchen support staff
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene
- Monitor food costs, manage budgets, and minimize wastage
- Conduct regular stocktaking and place orders for resupply
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
Certificate or Diploma from a recognized culinary school
Proven experience as a working chef
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
Strong attention to detail in sanitation and quality control
Portfolio showcasing creative and unique dishes
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
High level of professionalism, discipline, and work ethic
Passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
